Crafty Stuff

We have tried a couple different arts and crafts activities over the past couple months. After our Valentine craft we tried this window finger painting idea from Pinterest. Basically you put some paint in a ziplock bag and tape it to the window. It is supposed to be a mess free finger painting project. Emmett really liked this for about 10 minutes, and then he got bored with the paint and decided to make it his mission to rip the tape off. He succeeded, and then chased the dog with the bag of paint.

Next up was our first attempt at crayons. He really wanted to eat them more than anything, but he did make a few scribbles on the paper. He got really upset when he was told he couldn't color the furniture with them.

Our most recent art project was supposed to be hand print shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day. This was a complete and total fail. He just wanted to smear the paint around, which was fine, but he's also cutting teeth and apparently has a short fuse at the moment because he lost it in a big way towards the end.

Didn't want to make shamrocks, but was enjoying smearing the paint around..

Tasted the paint, decidedly did not like it, downhill from here...
