Emmett's First Birthday!

I'm way behind on blogging, but figured I would try to catch up. :)

It's hard to believe, but my sweet baby boy is a year old already. I am so lucky to have been blessed with such a healthy, happy little boy. His party was the day after his Birthday, but we had a little celebration with just the 3 of us on his actual Birthday. First he got to open his present from Mommy and Daddy.

He loved the ribbon on top. We eventually had to take it away so he would open his present.

He was very interested in how it went together, and made sure to supervise the process.

He even grabbed a screwdriver and helped out!

  

Next up was his little smash cake. We found out during his 12 month photo shoot that he's not a big cake smasher. He really just like to swipe some frosting off, eat it, and then fingerpaint with it.

Emmett got a bath and took a nap after all of that excitement. When he got up from his nap we decided to take him out to dinner at Castaway Cafe. He really enjoyed the little toddler section! He also chowed down some french fries and chicken tenders.
