Traverse City - Part 1

We left for Traverse City a little later than planned on Thursday because Emmett was a bit fussy from his shots the day before. He was a champ for the 4 hour drive and slept the first 3 hours of it. I sat in the back with him for the last hour and he was content just to have some company. When we got to the resort he was as excited as I've ever seen him!

He thought the bed was pretty awesome. He spent a lot of time bouncing and playing on the bed during our stay.

Our resort was right on the beach, so he also got the chance to check out Lake Michigan before we unpacked.

Friday morning we drove out to Charlevoix to take a tour of Castle Farms. Here is Emmett in the butterfly garden.

My camera battery died so that was the last of the pictures I got at Castle Farms.

When we got back to the hotel Emmett took a nap and then went swimming for the first time. He loved it!

I have a video of his first swim that I will post in a minute.

To end the day, we spent a little time just relaxing on the beach.
