Leaves!

It was a gorgeous day today, so we took Emmett out to play in the leaves.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch today to pick out our pumpkins. It was cold, but luckily the rain held off while we were there.

Obviously Emmett won't be very in to the actual carving of the pumpkins(except maybe playing with the guts!) but we plan to let him fingerpaint one and I know he will love that!

Fall Farm Festival

Kensington Park had a fall festival at their Farm Center today. We had a lot of fun and Emmett was happy the entire time! We looked at all of the animals, watched a clown, and went on a horse drawn hayride to the pumpkin patch. It was super cold though, and it started to sprinkle as we made our way back to the car.

Daddy's Birthday

Today was Daddy's 35th Birthday! Emmett and I made a special trip out to Twelve Oaks Mall to get a cookie cake from Nestle Cafe.

Emmett was sitting in Daddy's lap, but he was relocated to his highchair after he grabbed a handful of frosting. That and a baby plus 35 lit candles could be very bad. 

Feeling Better!

Emmett got really sick last Friday evening in to Saturday morning. He screamed and cried a lot of the night. We were able to get him in to his Pediatrician's office for a Saturday appointment. My poor buddy had a yucky cold and his first ear infection. He started his antibiotics and some benadryl. It was sad to see him so under the weather.

By Sunday afternoon he was feeling a lot better and seemed to be getting really bored with sitting around the house. It was beautiful out so we took advantage of that and went to Spicers. He seemed glad to get out of the house. Here are some pictures of him with the pumpkins.

It was a zoo there so we ended up not staying too long. We stopped at the park on the way home.
